I totally agree with Raj's Views but do not agree at all with the ways he is using to implement them. remember raj fought for the 800 misplaced jet crews. where 650 of them were north indians. he is fighting for youth. I m just a local marathi boy.i know the ground reality. the menace from people from bihar and UP has reached up to the neck now. although violence i snot justified by anyone. but his speeches and talks for preserving the marathi culture is very influential. what uddhav should do is forget the political obligation with BJP and join raj in this fight for marathi cause(not take up violence)if uddhav has to set himself up in the stature of bal thackeray. get the DF government down and then do it the right way. this problem has occurred on first place only because the government failed to notice the discontent among marathi people for long. not to forget the media bias going around. r we looking at a arushi case like situation here? where media had already given the judgment against her father and he was set free in 50 days. i see hindi news channel airing like anything and everythig "GOONDA RAJ","RAK ki tanashahi" and much more. shouldnt they just report whats going on rather than making judgements just because they have high viewership in north india. as far unruly state is concerned. do u really think all the thousands of people protesting on streets are MNS workers? no they r not. the common marathi man has also come out in his support. take this. today three people were killed in violence in kalyan(the center place of all the activities). 2 bihari and 1 marathi in clashes ( not that i m justifying the kilings). now take this 12 biharis were killed in bihar alone by fellow biharis today itself in protest against raj. now which one is the unruly state?

Hardik I totally agree with non voilence, but why do u think he should fight for marathi people. I believe that he is just destroying the integrity in mumbai, first it was muslims now they started this against north indians, i mean WTF. Why do u need to make it a political issue. U and me both know mumbai is an awesome place to live in, but these people making them worse. I respected bal thackrey and his princicples but not until this riots and causing damages to public and private properties. Its because of him people died, i think he should be behind the bars for murder case, why should students suffer, if he has guts fight for the public in election and make mumbai a better place to live in not the worse place where people fear to come in. I dont know how come u support on that marathi thing either, have we ever discriminated between marathi, bengali, gujurati, or whatever the caste is, this is just a vote bank strategy that these people use and because of whom regular people suffer.

I told him…just imagine mandar…ur sis has married to a Sindhi guy, just bcoz he was good at heart, and u and ur family had no regrets on his caste, bcoz he is a good boy who can take care of ur sister…and not bcoz he is a non UP waala…if she had married to a UP waala or Bihaari…and ur jiju was facing same kind of problems faced by other bihaaris and UP waalas……

Hey Hardik, I have read lots of articles and interviews and now ur blog regarding Raj and whatever he is doing. I think though he has a good motto his way is wrong.He is not portraying himself correctly. His ways are just trying to kill the mumbaikar spirit.Every state wants welfare of there localities and every state does take care of it. They all do it politically and by having rules and regulations. Raj shud do the same thing .He should behave like an educated person and use his powers in appropriate manner.His violence depicts that he has low thinking.

Why these people are coming to this town in the first place?
Why cover incompetence of the North Indian politicos by pushing the trash to Mumbai?
Why not create better Bihar or UP so that there is no need of migration?
Why blame Raj for pushing you guys out?
Why not cry out lout in front of your own leaders for whom you morons have been voting for more than 2 decades?

It’s easy to blame others but difficult to admit your own mistakes.
If today these people are here getting hit by MNS is because they lack the facilities back home.
They prefer sleeping on streets n get their asses kicked by MNS here than in their own home because it’s better than getting screwed by bahubalis in Bihar.
And it’s safer here because of Marathi people who have been nice to these guys all this while.

I am a MBA too...But first lesson taught in the Business School is to respect local People, Culture, Traditions and Values. Else there won’t be regular business.
And education doesn’t mean u forget your roots. I am Maharashtrian n m proud of being one.
No matter where I am m Maharashtrian at heart. If m not in Maharashtra I will have to gel with local culture.
Adjust myself with local environment. Which I feel is completely logical.
As far as Maharashtrians are concerned they are doing what they are good at that is fighting back.
I have seen them being suppressed for a long time. I could see it coming.
I have seen them fighting to keep Mumbai and Vidarbha as a part of United Maharashtra in past and trust me there is no one who could stand against them.
Not even the central Govt.
There are families I have seen where people have given their lives for this city.
People who have died and killed others for the cause and some willing to do it again if need be.
As someone said correctly life is about to change & it comes in full circle.

The best spirit is to compete. But the so called "Sons of Soil" here just want easy 9 to 5 governments jobs without trying. Do you know, Tata Plant at Jamshedpur is full of Maharashtrians. They ensure entry for other Maharashtrians. But I dont say they are wrong. Migrants are the most dynamic people. They leave their home towns to earn a better living. So they are the only ones who can bring about some change / development. Truckloads of our software engineers, doctors migrate to US,Europe. What if people there treated us like this ???? All Indians migrated to other nations should be dumped back here....and see the economy go to dogs...
Don't encourage regionalism. Earlier I always wondered how suicide bombers (educated guys too) sacrifice their life and take innocent lives. how much brain washing would it require? But today I realize... Its so easy to mend people's brain. Educated guys like you have got carried away today. secondly MIGRANTS ARE THE MOST DYNAMIC PEOPLE.SO THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES TO BRING SOME CHANGE/DEVELOPMENT.your this statement is quite an eye raiser. does that mean that before the immigrants from bihar and UP came in mumbai city was not developed and now since they are here it is much more better, develop and safer city to stay? or do u mean that if you work in your own city or state you are not good enough but the moment you go to another state you suddenly become dynamic because you are a migrant. u said that they come here for better living. why don't these so called dynamic migrants stay in their own state and improve the state of living right there so that their future generations dont have to migrate. but NO who wants to do the hard work lets be blood sucking parasites on the state of maharashtra because the government there is very welcoming isint it?
next your tata plant in jamshedpur , i welcome the move from them and i m sure all the employees there live legally and pay taxes accordingly. however if you have read raj thackeray's recent interview with shoba de. you should have noticed he doesn't have any problem with ratan tata. he lives in legally . pays taxes like all of us and doesn't involve in any criminal activities. same like that i don't mind if someone from UP, Bihar or kerala comes here. buys himself a legal home . pays taxes like all of us and uses the city infrastructure. but i have issues with those bad elements of society who just move to mumbai in seeking employment . live on streets , make slums not to forget the worst criminal activities and unfortunately maximum of them come from UP and bihar.
you also mentioned about indians living in abroad. what happens if they are dumped back to india? you say that their economy will go to dogs. and if all these brilliant engineers, doctors come back to india. dont u think that our economy will be in much more better shape than those western countries and even it will benifit our future generation. perhaps me an my kids so that we don't even have to think about moving abroad. but thats everyones personal call. so i cant generalise my view on that.but yes if those brilliant migrants gone abroad do offend the local culture then i am sorry to say i will not defend them.

Hardik, I read your blog very patiently and but I dont think you read mine. my reply wasnt to you alone.. it was to all who support Raj Thackrey.. and I am very clear that he is provocative. And you all are simply provocated today. People have turned voilent, even if you say a hunderd times that you dont support voilence. Mumbai was never a city of Maharashtrians alone. So you can never say that it would have developed with Maharashtrians alone. Since the time we remember Bombay, it was always cosmopolitan. Try and go thru the top Management in any company here and the brains behind all big corporates, you will get your answers. When people migrate, they are risking a lot and hence are more likely to work harder and prove themselves which Maharashtrians cant do and will never be able to do. They only know how to pull down people who are growing. Dhiru Bhai Ambani also migrated and proved himself brought about development. I was born here and love this city as much as you. But what you term as change is different from each one's perspective. I will tell you a practical case that I heard recently. Fisherwoman have a proble that UP guys go home to home and sell fish. Hence the sale of local fisherwoman has gone down. You tell me if anyone is stopping fisherwoman or men in their family to go house to house? A big NO. But they dont want to. Today if we women get fish sitting at home. It helps us. And believe me they give a much better price. Its a development according to me.

Our super brains are migrating there for a better living and better opportunities. And corruption is holding our development to a great extent. knowing our corrupt politicians I am sure they will not be able to do any good to our country by coming here. The best thing your loving Marathi Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh can do is only sit and attend his son's movie premiers and talk irrelevant. Mumbai has grown because of contribution from Gujarati's / Marwaris- who know business(mind it i am not a Gujju) But fact is fact.
I would have fallen in love with Raj Thackrey if he would have met up with Ministers in UP and stormed his brains to help them develop their state. He would have been a saint to me.
You are true to say that I dont want to dirty my hands because I believe politics is dirty business they simply use people as ladders to meet their selfish ends. ReplyDeleteFirst of all does it matter who am I like which caste. I dont think so as i am bron and brought up in mumbai and its my birth right, no one can move me out of that place. Secondly about the business thing, it works in this way see a businessman just thinks over money and feeding his children and family. No one ever thinks about the caste before dealing. My dad deals with most of the maharashtrian. I think about kapada bazaar they deal with gujju's because there are moreover gujju's in that market and if a maharashtrian or a bhaiya gives a good rate they wont prefer a gujju. common basic princliple and the only principal behind is making profit and not to deal with same caste people. I dont think none of the youths ever think caste or religion before making friend, it never works in that way. But in near future kids will make friends based on their caste and religion, thats all because of this politicians. Guys no individual needs help to survive from government get that please and please stop talking about religion. these are just for the votes, BJP for Hindu Votes, Congress for Muslim votes and now shivsena and MNS for Mararashtrian votes.
Also what rahul said i feel he is absolutely right, if u have strength fight with bhai thakur from thane, they cannot as these guys are more powerful. Also human life is more important, as it is country is struglling from terrorism, these people instead of helping tackling that they are creating more issues for cops to worry about rather than the more important ones. Why kill a man or damage some persons property, they dont think its marathi or gujju or bhaiya they have nothign to do and so they come out of streets and fight and damage property. Violence is no good at all and is not excepted.

No one is fearful of any1 over here let me get this clear. I dont care if raj reads this blog with my name and traces me this is a democratic country and we have a right to speak.
Also speaking of maharashtra dimple is right its made with people all over india, and there are no rules stating people working or cannot work in other states. Everyone is legally allowed to work anywhere in the country they need no visas to work nor need visas to go from state to state. I agree to hardik that these guys made the slums but its not only bhaiyas who is involved in making slums its a mix culture as in a whole.
Only point is no one needs help from the government to get bread for their family government should be there for them when needed thats it for their protection and not for destruction.

ReplyDeletei think you misunderstood my second reply to dimple. what i mentioned was, if the circumstances come where dimple falls in love with raj(mentioned by herself in the blog), then definitely raj will know what she thinks about all the maharshtrians.(HER VIEWS CLEARLY REFLECT IN BOLD LETTERS IN MY SECOND REPLY)and in that situation she will face the consequences. well it was her choice to go ahead and fall in love with raj with this GREAT attitude of hers. so she should refrain from mentioning virtual things just to increase her blog length. there was nothing aggressive about it . you just presumed too much.in your second para you mentioned that i talk about slums created by migrants. if you read one of my replies i clearly state that irrespective of your state of origin, may it be behiar,punjab, gujrat or UP. if u make slums in the city i m against u. now unfortunately the maximum people turn out to be bhaiyas.
lastly, everyone is allowed to come to mumbai and earn a bread. i welcome any bhaiya who comes down to mumbai. buys himself a flat. gets a ration card. pays city taxes and gets an employment.because i am proud of so many years of maharashtras governance that they have made this state worth coming for employment. but if anyone is of the attitude that i will go to mumbai, sleep on streets. build myself a hut. avail civic facilities and earn my living. then you might have to face the wrath of localites. i guess most of the mumbaiyites think the same way(irrespective of their cast and community), its just they are scared to admit it because raj's violent acts overcomes his good thoughts

ReplyDeleteso if am poor i want to earn and be rich, so i see mumbai a good place to work and then i move there. the cost of living is high so i plan to live in slums, now i am working day in and day out for my bread, and then some minister kicks me out is that fair. They say if you are poor go to your state. BTW how come its anybody's state, any one can go and work anywhere.

WHY they could not develop it since independance?

highest rate of growth in the country within a span of 5/6 years but not

* UP/Bihar are amongst richest states in terms of natural resources.
WHY then Tatas, BIRLAs or any other industrialists not keen on setting
up large industries there, even though labor is also cheaply available ?
* Amar Singh of Samajwadi Party always accompanies top celebrities /
Industrialists, prominent being Anil Ambani.
WHY he could not convince them to invest in his state? Only Anil Ambani
was investing something...but that's because he was promised free land.
* It’s a fact that maximum number of Babus (IAS/IPS etc officers) come from UP/Bihar.
WHY then these states still remain backward? Because they and their
Netas don’t want to uplift their backward state so as to rule

* Bihar CM Nitish Kumar claims that North Indians contributed to the
development of Mumbai.
WHY they do not contribute for their own state's development ?
Why are Patna / Dhanbad the shabbiest cities in the world ? (Mumbai may join them soon)
* 36 north Indians were burnt alive in Assam.
WHERE were Sanjay Nirupam, Abu Azmi, Mulayam, Amarsingh, Laloo, Nitish Kumar at that time ?
* Bihar had maximum number of railway ministers.

WHY then their recruitment is done from Mumbai ?
* Its a fact that where there's money/opportunity, people from
different geo/demography rush-in to make fortunes. Mumbai is one such city.
Gujratis, Marwaris, South Indians, Bengalis, Punjabis, Sindhis flocked
to Mumbai for obvious reasons.
Majority of these communities got into skilled, professional, business
areas and prospered, contributing to Mumbai's success.
However, most of the North Indians resort to and take pride in doing
unskilled/unlawful cheap labor such as illegal hawking by occupying
every nook & corner of every footpath, station areas as
vegetable/fruit/sing-chana/bhel-pani puri vendors, or auto/taxi wallas
without licenses.
They bribe local authorities and make life of common people miserable
due to congestions and rubbish.
They are ruining the tax payer's money. Of course not to mention about
illegal slums.
It is absurd to say that they contributed to Mumbai's development. If
anything, they are retarding/deteriorating Mumbai.
CAN our great leaders dare say that Middle-east countries especially
Dubai got developed due to laborers from India ?

I very much felt the same when I was seeing all this happening in Mumbai. Not a single reaction from MNS??? Where is d sena?? Were they even out there helping??
If they really are Mumbaikars then they should have been out there helping but i guess they can just sit inside and plan how to evacuate north Indians from Mumbai rather than help fighting terrorists out of Mumbai.

If Raj Thackeray wants North Indians to return back to their native land, then is he willing to recall all Marathi Manoos settled all over India? Should they be treated in the same manner? As defined by our constituion, he is committing an illegal act. The Britishers used the divide and rule policy to rule over Indians for years. The Thackerays are trying to adopt the same policy. First the used the religion card, now they are using the region card, who knows what it might be tomorrow? They all are no worse than anti-social elements. We should be careful to avoid falling in to the traps of idiots like Raj and Uddhav. They are just committing such acts to gain political mileage.
